Research Center oriented towards the analysis and search for solutions to the environmental problems associated with the Río Boconó watershed in the Municipality of Boconó and neighboring areas. It was founded in 1980 by Dr. Pedro Rincón Gutiérrez and assigned to the University Nucleus Rafael Rangel.
